ECMI has set up the ECMI Educational Committee with representatives from each participating university. This committee meets twice a year and is in charge of all educational activities.

Based on high-level research laboratories present at Grenoble in Mathematics, Computer Science, Automatic Control, Signal Processing, and Hardware Architecture, Persyval-lab promotes a holistic approach for developing an ambitious scientific program focused on four research actions conducted by integrated multi-disciplinary small and effective teams.

The research action “Mathematics: from Fundamentals to Applications” (MFA) aims at better understanding and optimizing the dynamic behavior of complex computational-physical systems.

Currently, applied mathematics is an area that provides many job opportunities, in industry and in the academic world. There is a great demand for mathematical engineers on topics such as scientific computation, big data analysis, imaging and computer graphics, with applications in many fields such as physics, medicine, biology, engineering, finance, environmental sciences.

MaiMoSiNE is an university structure which provides an interface for industrial engineers and scientists to communicate their needs, objectives and challenges, to university researchers

The Partial Differential Equations team is part of the MAD department (Deterministic Models and Algorithms) and gathers researchers in the area of modeling, analysis and scientific computing in strong interaction with other disciplines.
