Aim

The Signal Processing for ASynchronous Systems (SPASS) Toolbox aims at performing classical signal treatments on asynchronous signals. It is based on Matlab (kernel and signal toolbox).

There is no global clock in an asyncronous system. When a signal is sampled, it is not sampled at regular times but only when there is some activity, i.e. the signal crosses some predefined values. This sample is then defined by the amplitude of the signal and the time elasped since the last sample (local clock). Classical signal processing is of no help for such sampled signals ... here comes SPASS.
